Issue 56
As many of you will know, this is the first issue under the banner of Atlas Publishing and I am delighted to be working for such a dedicated and visionary team. Already we have this very informative companion Web site. Also, from this issue onwards, the magazine will be available in every UK branch of Borders.
This issue has a touch of the Orientals. Not only have we two fascinating articles on Charlie Chan, the most famous inscrutable Chinese sleuth, but Paul M Chapman explores Sherlock Holmes’ encounters with the East, and George Kaplan provides a new Holmes mystery in which he comes up against the wily and deadly Professor Che Tai-kai.
But, honourable reader, this element is only part of the unique mix of the magazine, which I trust meets with your approval. Confucius, he say, you read one SHERLOCK and you want another soon after.
