Issue 52
I had the greatest fun putting together one of the features for this issue. With the Christmas holidays imminent and the dark nights already in ecidence, I tend to read more, and often I make a long arm and pick up a Sherlock Holmes collection for a comfort read.
Inevitably I plump for one of my favourite tales, such as The Blue Carbuncle, A Scandal in Bohemia or The Read-Headed League. I wondered which stories others considered to be their favourite. With this in mind, I approached seven writers and asked if they would choose their favourite Holmes tale and explain their choice. Without exception, they all readily agreed. The results can be seen on page ten in this issue.
